Recent Wrestling News

*Triple H's announcement that Raw and Smackdown superstars will be on Raw together permanently  is major move. It means that now some wrestlers that haven't had the honor of stepping in the ring together because they were on different shows is now going to happen. It could also have a bad thing because if they are combining the rosters then some superstars may not be seen on t.v. as much, and may lose their spot. Whether this is a good thing or bad thing will all be told in the near future.

*Kevin Nash will not be facing CM PUNK at Night of Championships because apparently Kevin Nash had a physical done in Pittsburgh recently and something happened in that physical to make the company decide that he shouldn't be in the ring with PUNK. I think it is pretty much safe to say that everyone who watched Raw last night knew that the announcement of Triple facing CM Punk instead of Nash was definitely a last minute decision and that many people were left disappointed. So if they are smart the company will need to keep Nash included in this storyline and in the match in some way.

*Alberto Del Rio was absent from Raw because the word is that his visa paperwork is not done yet, so he can't live the country. He will not be able to face Sin Cara for the live Smackdown supershow special tonight and the video package that was supposed to air on Raw was held back until it is cleared that Del Rio can return to America.

Ex WWE Diva Returning to the Ring

Former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro has stated on twitter that she will be returning to the ring training full time to wrestle again. She stated that she doesn't want her return to wrestling to be like it was in WWE, when she was learning to wrestle match per match. Ashley is now apart of WILD wrestling. It was confirmed last night from the owner of WILD wrestling that Ashley will be apart of that organization but will not be in any matches right away. So as far as any matches from Ashley in the present tense it will not be occurring. I know that alot of people have opinions on Ashley returning to wrestling. Some fans like it while some others see her as another stupid diva. Since this is my blog I will state my opinion. Just like many fans of wrestling I'm not gonna lie I did despise the Diva Search and found it to be ridiculous to put models who didn't know anything about wrestling on a wrestling program and compete against phenomenal wrestling like Victoria, Ivory, etc. I did feel like it was a slap in the face to many indy female wrestlers who tried for years to get in the WWE and had to see girls compete in a competition and win just because they were pretty. However when you see a person says that they want to seek out training and want to actually become fluent and agile in the ring and won't wrestle again until they are told that they are good enough to have a match in the squared circle then I'm sorry I can't hate on that. I also agree with Ashley when she stated that during her three years in theWWE she wanted to learn how to wrestle, but they only taught them enough to do a three minute match so yeah is going to look horrible and have many botches if you learn in that fashion. To me Ashley was the only one to me from the diva search that seemed like she actually wanted to be a wrestler and not just eye candy. Now let me state once again that this is my opinion so if you don't agree, please feel free to tell me your opinion!!

Recent Wrestling News

* In a recent interview with the Chicago Sun CM Punk was asked how he felt about Kevin Nash calling him a short order cook at the Waffle House on Raw a week ago. CM Punk responded by saying that he feels that Kevin Nash is "out of touch". CM Punk did not elaborate or his statement but I think that we clearly get what he meant and the comment might start some backstage heat between the two.

*Bret Hart  will be the GM for this weeks Smackdown which was taped in Calgary Alberta, Canada on Tuesday. In a interview for WWE.com Bret commented on the role that his niece Natalya has in the women's division stating that her and Beth Phoenix are a powerful combination and that it is in Natalya's genetics to be a great tag team wrestler. He also believes that if there is anyone that can take it to Mark Henry it is "The Celtic Warrior" Sheamus. Hart feels that not only is Sheamus a big guy but he is a hard worker and very agile and athletic. Smackdown is looking to be a great show on Friday so I'll definitely will be watching. Tune in to Smackdown this Friday at 8pm on SyFy to see Bret Hart take over Smackdown!!

Recently released  TNA star Matt Hardy was rushed to the hospital in North Carolina this morning after falling down in his home. People close to him say that he hasn't been feeling well but it has not been said what is exactly wrong with him. It has been a rough month for Hardy from getting a DWI last weekend and being fired from TNA as well. Despite any feelings that anyone has towards Hardy I know that everyone is hoping that he is okay.

Melina vs Serena Deeb WSU Wrestling November Pay Per View Tix on Sale

Probably the most anticipated pay per view coming up in the next few months is the Breaking Barriers 2 pay per view. WSU has been making quite an impact in women's wrestling for awhile now with their athletic and talented wrestlers and also making women that are fans feel that women's wrestling can be taken seriously and can have their own promotion. With WSU's November 19th event ex WWE diva Melina will have to prove her skills in the ring with female wrestlers not WWE divas. When she faces Serena Deeb who also had a stint in the WWE as a part of the straight edge society with CM Punk.  Serena is definitely a force to be reckoned with and does have a strong fan base on the indy scene and most indy fans don't necessarily like the WWE branded wrestlers so Melina will have to bring her A game. With that being said Breaking Barriers 2 will be held at The Ace Arena in Union City,NJ and will have a Meet and Greet 4:00pm-6:00pm. If you won't be in the area be sure to order the ippv  on GoFightLive.TV. I most admit I am looking forward to this event ex WWE Diva vs Indy Queen who will win?

Recent Wrestling News

*During an investors conference call Vince McMahon noted that The Rock has had a huge impact on the purchasing of Wrestlemania 28 packages which has sold out within 2 days. McMahon also noted that The Rock will be appearing at "multiple pay-per-view events" aside from Wrestlemania.

*Colt Cabana discussed on his podcast "The Art of Wrestling" that he had a dark match on Smackdown last week and that he enjoyed being backstage and seeing some of his friends and that even if he doesn't get asked to join the Smackdown roster he still would enjoy his career as it is now but would never say that WWE wouldn't be an option for him.

*Eric Bischoff recently  discussed in an interview that although he is not a big fan of Triple H, he thinks that it is a good idea to have him on camera acting as the Chairman Operating Officer  of WWE and calling the shots. He stated that he believes that McMahon was smart enough to know there wasn't really anything that he could do with his character of the evil Chairman of the WWE (circa 1998) and that Vince knew that he had to do something new and put someone else in that role. I believe this is one of the few times that I agree with Eric Bischoff.

*John Morrison may be getting more heat backstage for bringing Melina to shows last weekend. As we all know Melina was recently let go from WWE so this probably didn't go well with the WWE office. There has also been rumors that Melina was told that she could not come to any more shows.

* Paul Bearer has a new shoot interview coming out. Check out The Wrestling Dish later for the preview for the shoot.

Tna captalizing on CM Punk

While browsing through my twitter page and looking up on some updates earlier I stumbled upon the fact that TNA on Demand tweeted that they are having a CM Punk Superstar Series on their site. It will feature nearly three hours of the early years of CM Punk with TNA. As this isn't surprising to me that TNA would try to make money off of something or someone popular in another company it just boggled me that TNA could feel an anyway that they had something to do with CM Punk's success. They didn't know what they had in him then and wouldn't know how to market him anyway. If anyway was going to take so credit for making CM Punk known in wrestling it should be ROH in my opinion. But what do I know I'm just one blogger. TNA has sunk down to a lower low and can't see that their show is so horrible that they have to make money off someone that's not even in their company anymore.. So SAD :(

The CM Punk take over

With no surprise to anyone CM Punk opened up Monday Night Raw with his new theme song "Cult of personality" by Living Colour. The song is kind of mirroring his life because Punk might be starting his own cult of fans. Fans that have been unheard and ignored in the WWE for quite a few years.Fans that need to feel that the promos and statements from wrestlers is actually true. That every word that comes out of their mouths isn't all scripted, but that some bit of it is actually coming from the heart and passion of the wrestler. When CM Punk made his Epic "shoot" promo,it finally put someone on television who actually sounded like they weren't happy with the stagnant position that WWE has been in. Which consisted of jacked, beefy wrestlers who seemed like they don't have any brains or passion for the business and can't wrestle to save their lives. Who got their money and ran. CM Punk bought back the voice that was much needed. Even though what is coming out of his mouth isn't a complete "shoot", it's based off of real feelings that WWE isn't promoting real wrestling anymore. He wants to blur the lines on what is his real feelings and what is a work. These tactics are proving to be successful because of the unpredictable rants of Mr. Punk. When someone is giving you most see T.V. moments and you don't know at what point of the show that he will release this moments, it keeps you on the edge of your seat and who could ask for more? I predict that Wrestlemania 28 will be CM Punk's for the taking. The Rock/Cena match may be pushed down to the match before the main event. The flag of CM Punk's war on WWE corporate has been planted. Now the only question is will WWE let this angle become epic?

CM Punk discusses his "Shoot" Promo

In light of CM Punk returning back to Raw last Monday( p.s. I think he came back way to fast)and Triple H having to make a decision as to who is the real WWE Heavyweight Champ, I thought it would be refreshing to all the CM Punk fans to see what he had to say about his "Shoot" promo from a few weeks ago on Raw. So let's hope tonight that CM Punk will be the one to continue to make this CM Punk against WWE angle work. He has been carrying the torch so far with making Raw watchable again so please make my night CM Punk. Without further talking enjoy the except for this recent CM Punk interview...
